Kabuki actors are in the roles of (from right) Arashi Tomisaburô is princess Usuyaki-hime, Sawamura Kuniteru II is Nyobo Koyoro, Nakamura Tsurujiro I is Fugen no Gonhei, Nakamura Utaemon III is Jizo no Goheiji (middle), Nakamura Matsue III plays Musume Omitsu, Arashi Shamaru is Miroku no Sakunin and Asao Gakujûrô is in the role of Sanobe Iori. This is a very fine example of “Gomei Tsuzuki” ( pentaptych) |
