Yokohama-e: The Fan Room of the Gankiro, the largest establishment in Miyozaki where an American in a feathered head-dress is beeing lavishly entertained by Geisha girls and a dancing Chinaman. Outside in the foreground a superbly attired courtesan pauses under a huge crystal chandelier.

Condition:

Very fine colors, full size, a small printer’s smudge on ceiling, high quality  printing used to a Yokohama-e. Generally very good state of preservation.

Impression:

Fine early impression with laquer and extensive gauffrage.
