Subject :

The courtesans Nishikito of Chojiya (standing), and Yubae of Ogiya (The House of the Fan - the most prestigious house of the Yoshiwara) attended by a kamuro writing poem-slips and fastening them to thebranches of a flowering tree.

Condition :

Good colours with slight fading, slightly trimmed on left  edge, old restaurations to wormage centre right edge, top right corner, to kimono on seated girl and at top edge, minor soils and wear.  Overall good condition for a print of this period.
